Projection mapping, also known as video mapping, is a projection technology used to turn objects that are often irregularly shaped,
into a display surface for video projection.
These objects may be complex industrial landscapes, such as buildings, indoor set designed objects or theatrical stages.
By using specialised software, a 2D or 3D object is spatially mapped on the virtual program which mimics the real environment thats it's to be projected onto. The software can interact with a projector to fit any desired image onto the surface of that object.
This technique is used by artists, advertisers, the corporate world and many more, adding extra dimensions, optical illusions or the notion of movement onto what previously could have been a static object or stage.
With the endless possibilities of displaying your visions we at TheBiggerPixelCompany would only be too happy to help you find your way
in making that possible.
